Konecranes delivers latest X-series crane to Paklog d.o.o. in Croatia

Konecranes will supply an X-series crane to Croatian packaging company Paklog d.o.o. to meet the demands of their growing packing operations in Zagreb. The order was placed in May 2025, and the runway structure and crane are now in service. This installation marks a milestone for Paklog, as it introduces their very first crane into the facility.

Paklog’s core business is the production of wooden transport packaging and industrial packing of all types of cargo in transport (sea, air, land, rail). The new crane will help manage these loads more efficiently, improve throughput, and maintain safe handling practices.

The crane is installed on a runway structure supported by existing concrete pillars, featuring a load capacity of 5 tons, a span of 7.5 meters, a lifting height of 5.5 meters, and a runway length of 43 meters. The Konecranes X-series crane includes several advanced features relevant to Paklog's packaging operations:

  • Radio control with integrated display and stepless buttons – allows precise remote handling of packaged goods.
  • Integrated safety lights – improves visibility and safety in busy packing areas.
  • Stepless inverter for hoisting and travel – contributes to smooth, accurate positioning of loads.
  • DIN hook and finger protection – reduces risk of accidents during frequent handling.
  • Smart Features such as Hook Centering, Follow Me, Snag Prevention, and Sway Control help position loads efficiently and safely.
  • Smart wireless components – monitor crane condition and simplify maintenance.

“We chose Konecranes because of their experience and reputation for so many years. Konecranes is global leader in material handling so our decision to choose their mobile crane was easy. This is our first crane, and working with Konecranes gives us confidence that we can handle our customers' goods efficiently and safely as they expect us to do. We see Konecranes as a partner who will support us in our work, development and growth in the Croatian market. We also believe that this is the first in a series of future collaborations," says Kristina Kleković, Managing Director at Paklog d.o.o.

“We recommended our latest X-series crane to Paklog because its features are well suited to their operations. The integrated radio control, stepless inverter, and Smart Features will help them handle goods with greater accuracy, efficiency, and safety," said Živko Kajić, Industrial Equipment sales, Konecranes.

A strong focus on customers, commitment to business growth, and continuous improvement make Konecranes a material handling industry leader. This is underpinned by investments in digitalization and technology, as well as efforts to make material flows more efficient with solutions that decarbonize the economy and advance circularity and safety.
