Global footprint

While much of Konecranes’ growth has been organic, the company has also a strong acquisition track record. Konecranes has acquired almost 100 companies over the last 40 years – since the beginning of its internationalization in the early 1970’s – expanding its operations for instance in Asia.

As Konecranes has expanded its operations, its business has become increasingly international in scope. Today, our products are being manufactured in all continents in our own factories, as well as through global subcontractor networks, and sold worldwide.
